| Flight of the Butterfly — One of our Opportunity Quilts is based on a pattern by Gail Aleloe, called Butterfly. Members of the Glendale Quilt Guild made the silk and cotton blocks and hand stitched the sashiko in the border. It is machine quilted by Guild member, Pat Rollie. |

| The Imperial Fan — The other Opportunity Quilt is an original design with several machine pieced butterflies from the Butterfly Town pattern. The applique blocks were done by hand. All blocks done by the Guild members. The luscious dupioni silk and incredible hand quilting with silk tread makes a truly special quilt. |
